Today, Denman Software has taken their experience and research in real-time data acquisition, management, analyses and Internet access to a new level known as Netport. Netport will enable any company the ability to instantly view their real time data, analyze and log it from anywhere in the world, regardless of where the data is actually being gathered from. Netport software connects a local machine to a remote one using TCP/IP protocol. Using the Internet protocol, these two machines will talk to each other over the World Wide Web, transmitting data and information instantaneously. In this age, through phone lines, fiber optics, cell, wireless and satellite technologies, the Internet can reach all corners of the world and Netport enables it's user to customize that global reach.

Winsock settings:

  • Baud Rate
  • Data Bits
  • Stop Bits
  • Parity
  • Flow Control
The connector drop down box allows the selection
of the comport number (Com1…Com9).
  • Winsock mode: client or server.
  • IP Address: dotted numbers or a named host.
  • Port: a number or one of the standard Portnames.




Upcoming versions of NetPort include:

  • Embedded versions for the above for Linux;
  • Telnet style login password authentication;
  • Data compression and encryption;
  • Secure sockets for connections.
