PIC Servo

Use your PC serial port to control standard radio-control (R/C) servos for robotics, automation, and animatronics. Pic Servo accepts serial input at 2400 or 9600 bps and outputs eight servo-control signals.

Pic Servo can be controlled by any computer with serial-output capability, and microcontrollers such as the BASIC Stamp, PIC, etc.

Pic Servo is reprogrammable via the 4-pin programming cable to accept user firmware to do special functions. The programming cable connects to a user supplied pic programmer such as the PICStart plus from Microchip.

A companion software package is available: PC Servo. PC Servo is a Windows application that provides the user with 8 slider controls to operate the servos.
